It is a tribute to the African diaspora and the Black Power of Latin America.

Past and present are mixed to form a story where the town and its inhabitants witness the struggle of black people.

An ancestral practice that enlivens women's relationships with the land and awakened memories through daily and collective field work. The community tissue is enhanced by songs and ancestral knowledge around this practice.

She will be overwhelmed by the cooing and the relatives dancing with the coffin of the dead baby. Disturbed by the sadness and mystical sounds, she will listen to the uncontrollable crying of the baby and will chase that voice that calls her..... Chela will be perplexed by what she sees.

By Sebastián Pinzón Silva, Canela Reyes Colombia / 2023 / 77' On April 5, 2001, shortly after a nearby massacre at the hands of right-wing paramilitaries, two hooded strangers entered the farming town of La Bonga and delivered a letter. The note accused the town of sympathizing with the FARC, the largest guerrilla group in Colombia. The people were given 48 hours to either leave or be forcibly removed. And so, the entirety of La Bonga–150 families–fled that same day.

This short documentary film reflects the strength of women coming together and how they show one of the many magics that reflect black women through aesthetics.

Películas en Festivales 

Dirigida a la participación de películas colombianas de corto y largometraje producidas durante los años 2020, 2021, 2022 y 2023, que estén finalizadas y que hayan sido seleccionadas en los festivales elegidos por el CNACC para el año 2023. Esta información se verificará con la fecha de emisión de la resolución de reconocimiento de producto nacional de la película.

Los festivales podrán ser atendidos de manera presencial o virtual. Para conocer la lista de festivales aprobados para este año, por favor revise la Lista de eventos.

Para acceder a este estímulo el productor concursante deberá:

  1. Registrarse en el aplicativo en línea y aceptar términos y condiciones.

  2. Postular a través del aplicativo en línea el proyecto con todos los requisitos solicitados a más tardar quince (15) días calendario después de la finalización del evento, en cualquier caso deberá postular antes de la fecha de cierre de la convocatoria. Recomendamos hacer esta postulación con anterioridad.

  3. Enviar al correo electrónico informes@proimagenescolombia.com un único informe de acreditación de gastos dentro de los treinta (30) días calendario siguientes a la fecha de terminación del evento. Para preparar esta documentación, es indispensable que consulte el Instructivo de acreditación de gastos.

Los plazos mencionados no son prorrogables y en caso de no cumplirlos, se pierde el estímulo.
